Abstract
This paper studies the spatial distribution of paraguayan migrants in Buenos Aires City and its interrelations with the distribution of poverty. The source of data used is the National Census of Population, Households and Housing 2010, and a socio-spatial analysis is performed using georeferenced data processed through Geographic Information Systems (gis) and the construction of maps and statistical indicators of spatial distribution. Through this analysis it is consider that the spatial distribution (and concentration) of paraguayan on the urban space is closely linked to socio-economic dynamics and strategies of access to the city that are constrained by an exclusionary social context.
