Abstract
This text provides recent statistical information to show the characteristics of the Latin-American migration to the United States and Spain, as both countries are currently the region’s main migratory destinies. As regards the sociodemographic profile of this migration, in both countries the migration is mainly composed by young people (15 to 39 years old). However, regarding its composition by sex, there is a wide range of situations. While in Spain the feminine migration is the more common, in the United States the situation is more diverse, although masculine migration predominates. Finally, as regards its working integration, Latin Americans tend to be exposed to conditions of precarious work and employment discrimination.
